Merry Christmas and a Happy Advent to you!

One of the difficulties every December for many Christians is that it is hard to focus on preparing for celebrating the advent of Jesus with all of the other things vying for our attention!  For the 2017 Advent season Grafted we will be looking at the old English Hymn “The Holly and The Ivy” in an attempt to focus our minds on the acts of Christ this Christmas.  This song has some incredible imagery based upon the parts of the Holly plant that all points us to considering the things that Christ has done.  Each week we will look at a different part of the plant, consider how that plant part points us to Jesus, and ask ourselves how what Jesus has done effects our lives as we prepare for Christmas!
